Former Congressman Joe Scarborough, an outspoken conservative and host of MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country,” will launch a new three-hour talk radio program Feb. 7 on Westwood One. The show, which will also be called “Scarborough Country,” is scheduled to air Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (ET), Westwood One announced.

“Joe Scarborough’s experience in Congress and his success on TV make him ideally suited for today’s contemporary talk radio stations. Audiences and advertisers are going to love him,” Westwood One Senior VP of News and Talk Programming Bart Tessler said in a statement.

Westwood One, which provides local content to the radio and TV industries, serves more than 7,700 radio stations. The company is managed by Infinity Broadcasting.
