Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman signed a multiyear contract extension that will keep him at Fox Sports through the 2011 season, the network said Monday. Fox’s rights deal to carry NFL broadcasts expires in 2011.

Mr. Aikman shares the announcers’ box with Joe Buck to form Fox’s lead football broadcast team.
