Comedy Central has ordered a third season of its animated reality parody “Drawn Together,” the network announced Wednesday.

“‘Drawn Together’ has given us, along with ‘South Park,’ a solid hour of animated comedy and the creators continue to bring in creative, hysterical story lines that keep us wanting more,” said Lauren Corrao, executive VP of original programming and development.

The first three episodes of the second season have averaged 2.1 million viewers. The new deal calls for 14 episodes that will begin airing in October 2006.
