Don Perry has been promoted to president and CEO of Clear Channel Television, succeeding Bill Moll, who will continue to serve as chairman of the division.

Mr. Perry was named executive VP and chief operating officer of the division in May 2005 after having served as Southwest regional VP and VP and general manager of WOAI-TV, Clear Channel’s NBC affiliate in San Antonio.

The 49-station television division’s six regional VPs now report to Mr. Perry, who reports to Mark Mays, president and CEO of Clear Channel Communications.

Mr. Moll, who was named president of the TV division in 2001, will continue to be responsible for the strategic direction of the division, according to the announcement from Clear Channel Tuesday.
