Weathernews and Meredith Corp. have signed a deal that will allow viewers of Meredith’s 14 network affiliated stations to get localized weather, traffic, news and sport information delivered to their cellphones for $4.99 a month.

The deal was announced Wednesday. The content, which will feature personalities from each of Meredith’s stations, is set to roll out starting in February, with the launch of Weathernews’ LiveLocal mobile video service.
