ABC is changing its Tuesday schedule starting next week, with Wednesday comedy “George Lopez” joining the night and “According to Jim” getting a second airing.

On Feb. 14 ABC is running the special “A Charlie Brown Valentine” at 8 p.m., (ET), followed by “Rodney” at 8:30 p.m., “Jim” at 9 p.m., “Lopez” at 9:30 p.m. and “Boston Legal” at 10 p.m. Starting the following week “Jim” will also run at 8 p.m. “Lopez” will continue to air Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

This leaves out “Commander in Chief,” which ABC previously announced will be off the air for February.

“We believe in ‘Commander In Chief’ and want to do what we think is best for its long-term prospects,” said Jeff Bader, executive VP of program planning and scheduling for ABC Entertainment. “With this new schedule, the show will return with a healthy run of seven straight episodes in the spring. Airing additional episodes of ‘George Lopez’ and ‘According to Jim’ in the 9 p.m. time period for the next three weeks will expose our comedies to a new audience and benefit both shows in their regular time periods.”
