Zoda Named Executive VP of Granada America

Sam Zoda has been promoted to executive VP of Granada America. CEO David Gyngell made the announcement Tuesday. Mr. Zoda will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Mr. Zoda, who joined Granada America as senior VP of production in 2004, has helped develop and produce numerous productions for the company, including “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Nanny 911” for Fox, “Hit Me Baby One More Time” for NBC and “Celebrity Fit Club” and “But Can They Sing?” for VH1.

Before joining Granada, Mr. Zoda was executive in charge of production at Buccieri Entertainment, where he was involved in the production of series forGSN, Fox/Endemol Entertainment and Travel Channel.

Mr. Zoda previously served in senior positions with a number of independent production companies producing a variety of shows, including reality series, games shows, magazine series and documentaries.
