The Miami Heat’s victory over the Dallas Mavericks for the National Basketball Association Championship also gave ABC a win Tuesday in the adults 18 to 49 demographic.

Game 6 of the NBA Finals scored a 6.5 national rating in adults 18 to 49, a number that includes live viewing and same-day viewing via digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The top nonsports programming Tuesday was NBC’s 9 p.m. (ET) reality entry “Last Comic Standing,” which scored a 3.5 in the demo. On Fox “Comic’s” 9 p.m. competition, a repeat of the drama “House” was third for the night with a 3.4, followed by a repeat of NBC’s 10 p.m. drama “Law & Order: SVU” (3.2).

On CBS the second episode of the summer reality series “Tuesday Night Book Club” scored a 1.4, down 18 percent from its premiere last week. “Book” tied an 8 p.m. repeat of the ABC comedy “According to Jim” as the lowest-rated program in adults 18 to 49 for ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
