NBCU TV Group Names New VP of Publicity

Nate Kirtman has been named to the newly created position of VP for NBC Universal Television Group Publicity. Mr. Kirtman will report to Rebecca Marks, executive VP of NBC Universal Television Group Publicity, who made announcement Thursday.

Mr. Kirtman will primarily oversee the group’s media strategy, planning and communications efforts. His duties will include integrating East and West Coast publicity endeavors.

Most recently, he served as manager of marketing communications at GE Aviation in Cincinnati, where he was responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing communications. Prior to that, Mr. Kirtman managed the corporate dot-com team at GE’s corporate headquarters in Fairfield, Conn.

Mr. Kirtman began his GE career in 1998 as a senior press manager with NBC Entertainment in Burbank. Before coming to NBC, he was a marketing representative for Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. In 1992, Mr. Kirtman was a ninth-round draft pick for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
