Caustic comedian Dennis Miller’s on-again, off-again TV career is going to be on again Sept. 13 when he starts his second stint as a contributor to Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” and to the Fox News Web site.

A Fox News spokeswoman said Mr. Miller is expected to contribute 20 TV and Web appearances combined over the course of a year.

Mr. Miller, who became famous as the “Weekend Update” anchor on “Saturday Night Live,” spent two seasons in ABC’s “Monday Night Football” booth starting in 2000. After that gig ended, he appeared on “Hannity & Colmes” in 2003, before joining CNBC in 2004 to front his own talk show, “Dennis Miller,” which was cancelled in 2005.
