A repeat of Fox’s “Vanished” failed to improve its ratings fortunes in the adults 18 to 49 demographic in its second outing Tuesday, performing poorly in its time period and dropping from its “House” lead-in.

At 9 p.m. (ET), “Vanished” scored a 2.1 rating in adults 18 to 49, a number that includes live viewing plus same-day viewing via digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research. That was down 32 percent from its “House” repeat lead-in at 8 p.m., and down 43 percent from the “House” repeat that occupied the 9 p.m. time slot the previous week. It was also down 30 percent from its own premiere Monday.

Despite the poor showing of “Vanished,” Fox managed to tie an all-original, all-reality CBS for the top spot Tuesday in adults 18 to 49.
