A&E officially said Tuesday it will air “The Sopranos” on Wednesday nights beginning Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET.

A&E bought rerun rights the HBO mobster drama for a record $2.5 million an episode. The network will run two episodes back to back on Wednesday and the episodes will run sequentially, beginning with Season 1.

The show will not be edited for time, which means the second episode may start later than 10 p.m. and end later than 11 p.m. in order to allow for commercials, which weren’t included on HBO.

“The Soprano” episodes are also expected to be repeated on A&E Monday nights.
