Beth Goss has been named executive VP of Cartoon Network’s ad sales, marketing and enterprises group.

Ms. Goss, formerly executive VP of Universal Pictures’ consumer products group, starts her new job Jan. 29. She succeeds Kim McQuilken, who left the company last year. Ms. Goss will report to David Levy, president of Turner Entertainment ad sales and president of Turner Sports.

Ms. Goss’ “skills will blend perfectly with those of the seasoned Cartoon Network Ad Sales and Enterprises executive team in place,” Mr. Levy said in a statement Wednesday. “I am confident that, collectively, this group will continue to make it easier and more productive for advertisers, agencies and licensing partners to do business with Cartoon Network.”

Reporting to Ms. Goss are John O’Hara, senior VP and general sales manager, Phyllis Ehrlich, senior VP of ad sales, promotions and marketing, and John Friend, senior VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises. They had been reporting directly to Mr. Levy on an interim basis since Mr. McQuilken left the network.
