The Lippin Family Trust has joined forces with the Tower Cancer Research Foundation to establish two new programs dedicated to cancer research and public service.

The funds are being set up in honor of the company’s late president, Ronnie Lippin. Ms. Lippin died last December from a rare form of the disease.

The Ronnie Lippin/Tower Cancer Research Foundation Fellowship will concentrate on conducting studies and finding cures for cancer. The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Outreach Program at the Tower Cancer Research Foundation will focus on educating the public about the realities of cancer.

“The Tower Cancer Research Foundation is proud to honor Ronnie Lippin in this way,” said Solomon I. Hamburg, president and CEO of the Tower Cancer Research Foundation Board. “We believe these new programs and continued research will open new doors to patients and their families suffering from cancer.”
