FX has acquired the rights to the blockbuster film “Spider-Man 3,” sources said.
The network will have a five year window to show the film. Studio Sony will be able to cut out part of that window to sell the movie to the broadcast networks.
“Spider-Man 3” set a box office record drawing $148 million in ticket sales its first weekend.
