Digitalsmiths Raises $6 Million

Online video advertising company Digitalsmiths raised $6 million in funding, the company announced today. The round was led by The Aurora Funds, Chrysalis Ventures and individual investors.
Digitalsmiths is marketing a broadband video ad-matching system that pairs video content with relevant ads.
Digitalsmiths is aiming to capitalize on the demand for online advertising inventory. Research firm eMarketer has predicted online video advertising will grow by 89 percent this year to hit $775 million.
