In an effort to monetize its mobile video programming, Discovery inked a deal with Third Screen Media to use its software to deliver ads on cell phones.
Discovery has begun using the software to serve ads for Discovery Channel and Discovery Health Channel and will rely on the software for an additional 12 to 14 mobile ad campaigns this year. Discovery is primarily promoting its own programming in the ads.
