Despite hitting summer-season lows, Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” dominated Thursday night.
“Smarter” earned a 2.9 rating among viewers 18 to 49, according to preliminary Nielsen data, while “Dance” pulled a 3.4. Those are the lowest ratings for both since the start of summer. Still, Fox led competitors by a full rating point to win the night.
On second-place CBS, “Pirate Master” bounced back from last week’s series-low 1.5 rating to a 1.9, followed by repeats.
NBC was third with a repeat marathon of “The Office” and a new “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” (1.8).
ABC came in fourth with repeats, and The CW was fifth.
