Freshman series “30 Rock,” “Friday Night Lights” and “Heroes” garnered 12 nominations among them. Returning comedy “The Office” also secured a nod.
HBO had the second-most nominations in the survey, with veteran series “The Sopranos” and “The Wire” mentioned along with Spike Lee’s Hurricane Katrina documentary “When the Levees Broke.”
Other new shows receiving recognition include ABC’s “Ugly Betty” and Showtime’s “Dexter.”
