AOL Video Portal Gets Makeover

Jul 2, 2007  •  Post A Comment

AOL relaunched its video portal today at http://video.aol.com to include a revamped home page and improved video search.
The goal with the makeover is to give consumers access to more videos from across the Web, in addition to the licensed videos AOL host, AOL said.
The site also now lets users playback videos from other video-sharing sites, such as YouTube.
AOL said it’s grown the number of unique visitors to AOL Video by 300 percent to 8 million in the last year.

  1. I’m in the process of getting new computer equipment. I can never play anything that has audio attached. Is this because of AOL service or my computer…This has been very upsetting and given me cause to buy all new equipment. Everyone i know can listen to you tube and any other audio links. I have not been able to for over 10 years. I will now probably switch my service

  2. I use the embed feature of the clips at AOL all the time, especially to give my readers a Looney Tunes cartoon before the end of their long days of wasting company time reading my blog.
