Twelve is the loneliest number, as Internet-based drama Lonelygirl15 is set to air its season finale in 12 episodes over the course of 12 hours on Aug. 3.
Each episode runs between three and five minutes in length, and a new episode will be uploaded each hour.
The new season of Lonelygirl15 then kicks off Aug. 6.
Debuting in the summer 2006, Lonelygirl15 purports to chronicle the life of a home-schooled teenage girl. It later was revealed to be scripted by three men in their 20s, Miles Beckett, Greg Goodfried and Mesh Flinders.
