Lifetime Names New Promotion Executives

Bob Bibb and Lew Goldstein, the two promotion executives who helped launch Fox and The WB, have been named co-chief marketing officer of Lifetime Networks.
The duo has been working with Lifetime on a consulting basis and helped launch the network’s summer hit “Army Wives,” the most watched series in the network’s history.
This marks the first key executive appointment by Andrea Wong since she became president and CEO of Lifetime in April.
“I am sure these two consummate team players, with the creative vision and outstanding record of success in marketing to women, will strengthen the Lifetime brand by making it more vibrant, contemporary and empowering,” Ms. Wong said in a statement Tuesday.
While at the WB, Mr. Bibb and Mr. Goldstein worked with Susanne Daniels, now head of programming for Lifetime.
Lifetime is based in New York, but Mr. Bibb and Mr. Goldstein will be based in L.A. The network is evaluating which marketing functions will be transferred to L.A.
Lifetime is also moving its scheduling and acquisitions department to L.A. and senior VP planning, scheduling and acquisitions Leslie Chesloff is leaving the network after four years.
“Relocating from New York would have been difficult for a variety of personal reasons,” Ms. Chesloff said in a statement.
