‘ET’ Renews Steines’ Anchor Deal

Mark Steines has signed a new multiyear deal to continue co-anchoring CBS Television Distribution’s long-running hit “Entertainment Tonight.” Mr. Steines has served as co-anchor since 2004.
“Mark’s engaging disposition on and off camera strikes a real chord with our viewers,” said Linda Bell Blue, executive producer of the series. “‘ET’ continues to benefit from Mark’s notable journalism and sincere commitment to making this show No. 1 in entertainment news.”
Before taking over the anchor’s chair for the daily strip, Mr. Steines was anchor of “ET Weekend” and primary substitute anchor and correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight,” a role he began upon joining “ET” in 1995.
