Adam Shapiro and Rich Edson have been hired as Washington-based correspondents for Fox Business Network, which launches Oct. 15. Bruce Becker, FBN VP and Washington bureau chief, said in the announcement that they will contribute to coverage of Capitol Hill and other national business topics.
Mr. Shapiro most recently reported for WNBC-TV in New York. He previously was anchor of an Emmy-winning newscast in Cleveland and spent 11 years in Chicago, where he was a Fox News Channel correspondent and a freelance reporter for local stations.
Mr. Edson most recently was a freelance reporter covering international news for Reuters in Washington. He also has covered government and politics for local stations in Savannah, Ga.
