Online television technology provider Roo inked a deal to power Web video for Fox television stations, the company announced today.
Under the Fox deal, Roo will receive daily local and regional news videos from 24 of the Fox-owned stations around the country; it will syndicate that content to Roo’s network of Web publishers.
Earlier this year Roo struck a deal with News Corp. that made the media giant a minority investor in the online video company.
Roo also inked deals with Agence France-Presse and Chat the Planet, which provides Web video on global issues.
