Konica Minolta to Sponsor Gator Bowl

Oct 1, 2007  •  Post A Comment

Konica Minolta has signed a three-year deal to be the title sponsor of the annual Gator Bowl Classic, which will be played on New Year’s Day and broadcast on CBS.
The game was sponsored by Toyota from 1996 to 2007.
The new deal was announced at halftime during Saturday’s Florida State-Alabama game in Jacksonville, Fla.
Gator Bowl Association Chairman Kelly Madden said, “The association scored a winning touchdown in teaming up with Konica Minolta. We are excited about our new partnership with an organization of this stature. Konica Minolta is highly respected nationally and internationally, and our association with them will insure the Gator Bowl Classic remains one of the top-tier bowls in the country.”
