NBC Agency Ups Hartnett to Senior VP

Bill Hartnett has been promoted to senior VP of advertising and promotion of the NBC Agency, East Coast. He previously was vice president.
Mr. Hartnett now is responsible for managing the integration and daily operation of MSNBC creative services into the current NBC Agency setup. He will oversee the East Coast digital promotion team across all platforms and will be in charge of brand strategy for NBC News. He’ll work closely with NBC Agency West Coast on the promotion of “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” and “Saturday Night Live” as well as special events.
“Bill has been the ‘go-to guy’ for me and the department,” said Frank Radice, executive VP, the NBC Agency. “From his first days here as a writer-producer, to his time as director and then vice president, Bill has proven day in and day out that he can keep the wheels of this machine running both operationally and creatively.”
Having been with NBC for 12 years, Mr. Hartnett started his career with the Peacock network as a freelance writer-producer with WNBC-TV in 1995.
He lives in Hoboken, N.J., with his wife and two children.
