HD programming picks for Oct. 18-24: “Viva Laughlin,” “Happy Feet,” “Legend of the Red Dragon”
“Viva Laughlin” (CBS HD). Thursday, Oct. 18, 10 p.m.: The series premiere of a drama with music about a man who faces several obstacles, including the murder of his former business partner and a lack of financing, while trying to build a casino.
“Happy Feet” (HBO HD). Saturday, Oct. 20, 8 p.m.: The 2006 animated feature Oscar winner stars a penguin whose supreme dancing skills make him different from the other penguins.
“Legend of the Red Dragon” (HD.net) Tuesday, Oct. 23, 6:45 p.m.: Jet Li stars in a story about a master warrior and his son on the run who find refuge in a monastery, making its premiere in HD.
