The National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians (NABET) Sector of the Communications Workers of America have reached a tentative labor agreement with ABC after 10 months of negotiations.
The new four-year master agreement still needs ratification by the NABET membership, but has received recommendation from NABET-CWA president John S. Clark and Sector VP James C. Joyce.
A vote is due in early January.
ABC’s NABET-CWA members have been working without a contract since March 31.
Nearly 1,100 employees would be covered by the new contract, including employees at the four ABC owned TV stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco, as well as at the ABC Television Network studio facilities in New York, L.A., and Washington, D.C.
