1st Amendment Award Honorees Named by RTNDF

The Radio and Television News Directors Foundation announced the honorees for its First Amendment Awards dinner, to be held Thursday, March 6, naming professionals from across the span of TV journalism.
The honorees are:

  • Bob Schieffer, the CBS News chief Washington correspondent who moderates “Face the Nation”
  • Tom Curley, the former Gannett executive who is president and CEO of the Associated Press
  • Paula Madison, the NBC veteran who is NBC Universal’s executive VP for diversity
  • Richard Wiley, founding partner of Wiley Rein LLP, in Washington, D.C.
  • The 18th annual First Amendment Awards dinner will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in D.C. The black-tie event raises funds for RTNDF’s activities in support of First Amendment freedoms and journalistic excellence. Information about the dinner can be found at www.rtndf.org.
