Documentarian Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me,” “30 Days”) has signed a production deal with Fox Television Studios. Mr. Spurlock will develop and produce scripted and nonscripted projects for the company
“As a filmmaker and producer, it’s so important to me to maintain my own voice, and work in an environment that encourages creative freedom and the exploration of new ideas,” Mr. Spurlock said. “I’ve had exactly that kind of experience with FX on ’30 Days,’ and so I’m extremely excited now to be working with Fox TV Studios, hopefully to create the kind of unabashed programming that will move audiences and make them think.”
The deal was announced by David Madden, executive VP of programming at FTVS, and Jill Schwartz, senior VP of programming development.
“Jill and I wanted to make a statement that this studio was after adventurous material that would blur the lines between scripted and nonscripted, that would be provocative, high-profile, and mess with all the rules,” Mr. Madden said. “We hope to support him doing what he’s already been doing so beautifully in the personal documentary mode, as well as to help him cause trouble both in the traditional narrative arena and in the world of the Web.”

  1. This is good info! Where else can if ind out more?? Who runs this joint too? Keep up the good work 🙂

  2. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  3. Took me moment to observe every one of of the comments, except I in fact loved the article. It proved being in fact helpful to me plus I am positive to every one of the commenters here! It’s in general polite when you be able to not just be informed, but in adding entertained! I am positive you had pleasing writing this write-up.
