Ion Media Networks is set for some sun, entering into an agreement with distributor Litton Entertainment to air FremantleMedia North America television series “Baywatch,” on Ion Television. The long-running series will launch on Ion Monday, March 3, and will run Monday through Thursday at 10 p.m.
“This is another fun example of our strategy to offer upbeat, mainstream programming to our viewers,” said Brandon Burgess, chairman-CEO of Ion Media Networks. “This iconic series is a multigenerational TV staple, and ‘America’s Got Talent’ and ‘Borat’ have made David Hasselhoff and Pam Anderson as hip and relevant as ever.”
In a move to broaden its audience base, Ion also recently picked up “The Drew Carey Show.”
“We are thrilled to announce that ‘Baywatch’ will be back before national audiences in prime time,” said Dave Morgan, president and CEO of Litton Entertainment. “This classic series features drama, action, romance, humor and a cast of celebrity icons.”

  1. this is amazing…i am soo excited baywatch is coming back.

  2. I can not help but think that we have more useful subjects toward which we should be directing our interest as well as our options. How many magazine pages are wasted with full-color snaps of various highly successful people, as well as how much data transfer rate is squandered on a daily basis by incessant ramblings of superstar groupies?

  3. Love the blog here. Nice colors. I am definitely staying tuned to this one. Hope to see more.
