NABThe National Association of Broadcasters on Monday unveiled a new logo and slogan that it says speak to its contemporary mission.
In addition to a new logo, NAB unveiled a new descriptor phrase that describes the mission of the association: “Advocacy Education Innovation.”
“The modernized NAB logo embodies our reinvigorated sense of advocacy on behalf of America’s broadcasters on Capitol Hill, at the Federal Communications Commission and other agencies, and before the general public,” NAB President-CEO David K. Rehr said.
The NAB has been working since last spring with Pittsburgh-based advertising agency Blattner Brunner on the logo, which was last updated more than two decades ago.

  1. Strange, I didn’t even know they had a logo; and if they do, who really cares?
This isn’t like when RCA tossed out their decades-old logo, which gave them a real public persona, for those dumb block letters they went for. Looks to me as though some minor executive decided this is a way to make a name for himself. (I wouldn’t use that name in mixed company)
Fortunately, GE hasn’t fallen for that crazy idea. At least, not yet!
