Starcom MediaVest Group named Ken Taylor as president and general manager of a reconfigured GM Planworks, which handles media buying and planning for General Motors.
Mr. Taylor, a Starcom veteran, succeeds Dennis Donlin, who announced plans to leave last week.
GM Planworks, set up as a standalone agency unit in 2000, will be more integrated into Starcom MediaVest Group, sharing more resources in print, digital, out-of-home, search and research.
GM Planworks will continue to buy television time through a dedicated team headed by Mike Rosen.
“The new approach is multifaceted, highly digital and strategically aligned with our corporate objectives,” said Laura Desmond, CEO-the Americas at Starcom MediaVest Group. “It delivers the best of the standalone unit while remaining connected to the core of SMG.”

  1. I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I’m very very impressed.
