The prospect of jumping to traditional television is enticing for many Web hosts, but the stars of popular Internet show “Diggnation” are content to stay in the digital world, one of the show’s presenters said.
In an exclusive interview with TelevisionWeek at the Ad:Tech San Francisco 2008 conference, “Diggnation” host Kevin Rose said his show generates about 250,000 downloads each week.
“It pays the bills and we get advertisers and sponsors that come to the show that appreciate our content,” he said.
