Disney and ESPN Media Networks Latin America will launch a Latin American version of preschool program channel Playhouse Disney Channel. As of June 1, the network will be available to 3 million paid TV subscribers in Argentina.
“The launch of Playhouse Disney Channel in the region is extremely important for our company,” said Diego Lerner, Walt Disney Co. Latin America president. “It represents an essential component of our strategy—to expand distribution of all our Disney content to families in the region.”
Playhouse Disney Channel will feature 24-hour programming seven days a week aimed at children ages 2 to 5. It joins Disney offerings Disney Channel and Jetix in Latin America; they are seen in 19 countries in the region.
The new offerings will be available over Cablevision, Multicanal and Teledigital basic subscriptions. Three feeds will broadcast the station across Latin America. The north and south feeds will cover Spanish-speaking countries while the Brazil feed will broadcast in Portuguese.

  3. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  10. I have to say that I concur together with the sentiments about getting AOL as selection one. The comments posted along side it sum it up properly, that it does next to nothing to strengthen the model, but only adds confusion. From the most beneficial rebrands within the l ist, I would set SyFy on the top. At first I hated the identify, simply because I thought they did it ??just for the reason that,??? when the truth is they had to alter their title as a result of becoming unable to legally use Sci-fi.??? Now relatively than coming up which has a entire new name that no one would know- and perhaps lose a great deal of the currently inbuilt SciFi??? brand- they stuck together with the aged title having a little bit of word play. I can nevertheless call SyFy Sci-fi when it comes up, and that can make me satisfied.
