May 6, 2008  •  Post A Comment

After yanking its television shows off iTunes last fall in a very public spat, NBC Universal has found another online home for its content: Microsoft’s Zune service.
Zune announced today that it has inked deals to include television shows from NBC Universal, as well as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, Starz Entertainment, Turner Broadcasting, VH1 and others, on the Zune service. Zune is Microsoft’s online video and music store, similar to Apple’s iTunes.
TV shows will be priced at $1.99 per episode starting today. That’s what iTunes charges for TV shows.
NBC also offers its shows via Amazon Unbox, after pulling them from iTunes citing pricing concerns.
