The Sundance Channel has added documentary film “Crazy Love” to its planned lineup of “high-profile programming” set to coincide with the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
“Crazy Love,” directed by Dan Klores, was in the running for the festival’s Grand Jury Prize in 2007. It won the 2008 Film Independent Spirit award for documentary feature.
The acquisition of the film represents the latest effort by the Sundance Channel to add premium programming and strengthen its profile as an independent film, short and documentary brand.
The film will debut on Sundance Channel in January.
