CBS Corp. has named Andrea Prochniak vice president of financial communications.
Ms. Prochniak joins CBS from Morgan Stanley, where she most recently was executive director of investor relations. Before that, she was employed as a financial journalist for Fortune magazine.
At CBS, Ms. Prochniak will be responsible for developing CBS Corp.’s financial communications strategy and relationships with the financial media.
“Andrea’s experience as a communicator across a diverse range of businesses represents a significant asset to our evolving company,” said Gil Schwartz, executive VP of CBS Corp., in a statement Thursday. “It’s highly important that we help our many audiences understand the inherent strength and promise of CBS and its collective operations. Andrea will be a tremendous addition to our efforts in that regard.”
