While broadcast is losing viewers to cable overall, the Television Bureau of Advertising points out that most of the highest-rated shows on television are still on broadcast. In fact, among adults 18 to 49, 99 of the top 100 program were on broadcast, with a regular-season NFL game on ESPN the sole exception at No. 59.
