Viacom’s LGBT channel Logo, a division of its MTV Networks, will launch Web tie-in “The Pride Guide” this month.
The online site, sponsored by Southwest Airlines and NYC & Company, will provide gay pride-themed video, event guides, photo flipbooks and programming rosters. The site launch aligns with Logo’s weekend of pride-themed television programming, “Pride Party Weekend,” set to air June 27 to 29.
“We’re thrilled that Southwest and NYC & Company are partnering with Logo to reach millions of LGBT Americans and engage them even further in Pride celebrations across the country and on Logo,” Logo GM and Executive VP Lisa Sherman said in a statement Wednesday.
Logo was launched in 2005 and maintains affiliated online properties including LOGOonline.com, AfterEllen.com, AfterElton.com, 365gay.com, DowneLink.com and NewNowNext.com.
