Sony’s Crackle Sets New Summer Shows

Sony Pictures is upping its investment in Web video content and plans to premiere at least 10 shows on its online video site Crackle.com this summer, the Web site announced today. Some shows are returning series; others are new.
New shows include “The Jace Hall Show,” a 13-part lifestyle series covering the entertainment and gaming worlds; and music video director Vincent Moon’s “Take-Away Shows” featuring performances by cutting-edge bands.
Returning shows include “Purple Onion,” an online series that covers comedians who perform at the San Francisco comedy club; and “C-Spot,” a 13-week series offering a different show each weekday plus one on weekends. New “C-Spot” shows include comedy series “That Guy,” sketch show “Comedy Gumbo” and reality-comedy “Mr. Justice and Powerful Girl.” Returning is “The Roadents.”
