Digital entertainment studio DECA is launching a Web site and series, “Project Lore,” dedicated to massive multiplayer online gaming starring “Diggnation’s” Alex Albrecht.
The “Project Lore” series initially will focus on the popular “World of Warcraft” game, with Mr. Albrecht and others going through some of the game’s levels and challenges to offer viewers tips and strategies.
The companion Web site will feature tips, commentary, news and user-generated content about “Warcraft” and other massive multiplayer online games.
“There was nothing in the marketplace that presented this kind of video and interactive experience for gamers, and I am thrilled to be able to participate in developing and producing this ultimate destination around a game I love,” Mr. Albrecht said.
“Project Lore is focused on tapping into the passions of millions of massive multiplayer online gamers in a unique, relatable way,” said DECA Founder-CEO Michael Wayne. “We look forward to providing audiences with a premium video and community experience to extend their ongoing commitment to their favorite video games.”
DECA also has signed a distribution deal with ZAM Network, bringing “Project Lore” to some of the most prominent “World of Warcraft” Web sites.
