YuMe Taps Michael Mathieu as CEO

Michael Mathieu has been named CEO of YuMe, the largest dedicated video ad network on the Web.
Co-founder and former CEO Jayant Kadambi will take on a new role as president. He will remain on YuMe’s board of directors.
Mr. Mathieu joins the company from Freedom Communications, where he was president of the Internet division. He also was the senior VP at United Online and has held sales and marketing positions at AT&T, CompuServe and Wang Laboratories.
“We spent months looking for the right leader to continue the success we’ve demonstrated since YuMe was started. Michael is a strong addition to YuMe’s executive team at this critical time, and I’m looking forward to the leadership and experience he will bring to our growing company,” Mr. Kadambi said in a statement.
