Cablevision Systems Corp. will be adding five new HD channels to its iO TV digital cable roster, including MTV HD, VH1 HD, CMT HD, Fuse HD and NHL Network HD.
The latest additions, scheduled to be rolled out between today and Thursday, bring the cable service’s high-def offerings to 65 channels.
“As winter draws closer and customers prepare for the colder, indoor months, Cablevision is pleased to add more free HD channels to our iO TV lineup,” Cablevision Senior VP of Product Management John Trierweiler said in a release.
Cablevision has almost tripled its HD programming lineup since 2007.
