Lifetime Networks has named Nina Lederman as senior vice president of series programming and development.
She will be responsible for overseeing the development of all scripted programming for Lifetime Television.
Ms. Lederman was president of the CBS Paramount-based Joe Roth TV from 2005 to 2008. She was a producer for numerous NBC, CBS, ABC and HBO television shows and is one of the executive producers on ABC’s “Maid in Manhattan” pilot.
Ms. Lederman also has served as vice president of production for comedy, late night and syndication at NBC Studios and as senior VP of creative affairs for Michael Ovitz’s Artists Television Group.
“Nina’s extensive experience as a production executive, producer and development executive make her a triple threat in this industry,” JoAnn Alfano, executive VP of entertainment for Lifetime Networks, said in a statement. “As the business landscape continues to change, she has the perfect skill set to explore new, efficient and effective production models. The combination of Nina’s talent, strong relationships and vision make her an incredible asset to expand on Lifetime’s record of success in scripted series.”
