Cablevision Systems and the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research have launched an interactive VOD channel as part of their curePC campaign.
The Lustgarten channel offers information about pancreatic cancer and the fight against the disease to iO TV digital cable customers in the New York and tristate area. Viewers can access curePC’s PSAs, contact information and click on a “Request Information” button on the channel.
The channel debuted this month in recognition of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
The Lustgarten Foundation was named after former Cablevision vice chairman Marc Lustgarten, who died from pancreatic cancer in 1999.

  1. This is a great public service. It would also be great if this VOD channel could be shared with Time Warner to expand their message. As many in the Time Warner family know, Fred Dressler, a long time executive of the company also died of Pancreatic Cancer this past year.
