Warner Bros., TCM Prep ‘Greatest Classic Films Collection’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group and Turner Classic Movies are teaming up to release the TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection in early 2009.
The collection will compromise 60 top films in 15 themed groups, which will be released on DVD and promoted on TCM starting Feb. 3.
The films will be packaged in four-title sets with a suggested retail price of $27.92 per set.
The first sets coming out Feb. 3 will be Romantic Dramas, Romantic Comedies and Best Picture Winners.
TCM and Warner Home Video previously collaborated on the “TCM Archives” series and the “TCM Spotlight” series.
