Fox News Channel won’t lose the cable news top spot, says MarketWatch, which, like FNC, is owned by News Corp. The business Web site points to the loyalty of FNC’s conservative viewers and the network’s affinity for portraying itself as the underdog, which will be a lot easier to do with Democrat Barack Obama as president. MarketWatch also points out that Fox News Channel really took off during Bill Clinton’s presidency.
