Representatives for the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers will resume contract negotiations next week, the two sides announced Wednesday.
The organizations issued a joint statement declaring talks will take place Tuesday and Wednesday at the AMPTP’s Sherman Oaks headquarters.
“We will have no further comment about the meeting,” the statement read.
The resumption of talks comes in the wake of SAG’s decision to dump lead negotiator Doug Allen earlier this week.
New SAG negotiator John McGuire will lead the conversations for the actors. SAG has been working without a contract since June 30. The last round of negotiations broke down in November.
